Crackie ("the app", operated by gig) is designed to work offline. All 3,000 fortunes are bundled in the app; we do not run a server that stores your fortunes, history, or settings — those stay on your device.

What we collect

We do not collect personal information ourselves. Two third-party services may process limited data on our behalf:

Google AdMob shows rewarded ads. It may use a device advertising identifier to serve and measure ads. In the EEA/UK we ask for your consent first (GDPR); on iOS we ask via App Tracking Transparency. You can decline and still use the app.
Apple / Google in-app purchases process the optional "Golden Cookie" purchase. We never see your payment details.

What we store on your device

Daily cookie counts, streaks, which fortunes you've seen, settings, and your cookie history are stored locally on your device only.

Children

Crackie is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed at children. We use non-child-directed ad settings.

Your choices

You can manage ad consent any time in the app's Settings (Privacy options), and reset advertising identifiers in your device settings.
